Plastic Ocean InstaCollage Posters using QR Codes
Today (22.11.17) we watched the video clip below to discover what QR codes are:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CSIJGNBHjXw
We then looked at QR code generator websites like:
http://www.qr-code-generator.com/a1/?PID=1104&kw=qr%20code%20generate&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI5JL65bHS1wIVkbobCh182w9uEAAYASAAEgIqFPD_BwE
to see how Mrs Sills made her QR codes.
We then created some posters using InstaCollage to campaign against plastic in our oceans. We scanned Mrs Sills QR codes using a QR reader app on the iPads and then used these images to create posters. Some of us added our own images.
Here are some examples of what we produced:

Computing Apps
Today (15.11.17) we played with the Computing Apps. We played with Bee Bot, where we improved our skills in directional language and programming through sequences of forwards, backwards, left and right and 90 degree turns. Kodable is step-by-step instructions involving programming, if/then statements, and loops. We also played Daisy the Dinosaur and experimented and created our own programming sequences.

Video Star
The children produced some great videos this week! All using the Video Star app on the iPads. We watched some creations on You Tube first, for inspiration, then had a go ourselves.
Some of us added text to our frames.
We still have work to do on our timings, cinematography and editing but our creativity is definitely shown!
